SEO Checker (Light)

A light, automated check — not the deep audit. Paste a page address; the server fetches it once (public sites only, nothing stored) and returns 16 on-page checks with a plain-language fix for each: HTTPS, the server response, title, description, H1, alt text, content length, canonical, robots, viewport, language, social tags, structured data, links, robots.txt and sitemap.

A free, light website SEO checker: paste a page address and get 16 automated on-page checks — HTTPS, the server response, title and description length, H1, image alt text, content length, canonical, robots, mobile viewport, language, social tags, structured data, links, robots.txt and sitemap — each with a plain-language fix. It is the quick, automated version for one page at a time. Public pages only; the page is fetched once and nothing is stored.

A missing title or a blocked page does not look broken — it just never shows up when your customer searches.

Your page, read the way Google reads it, in about 5 seconds. Nothing stored.

What exactly do we read?
Light check — one page, the on-page basics, automated. We fetch the page once, read it, and keep nothing. For the deep audit (a person, the whole site), use the button under the result.

The page you enter is fetched once by our server (public sites only), read, and discarded — nothing is stored, and your own files never come into it.

Left: your site as it stands today, with whatever this check finds and the things it cannot see from outside. Right: the same site with my team looking after it. It is checked every week, a backup is taken before anything changes, and if something breaks, my team looks into it and tells you what happened.

How it works

How to use the SEO Checker (Light)

  1. 01Paste the address of the page — the homepage, or the page you want to rank.
  2. 02Read the score and the list: red = fix, amber = improve, green = fine. Each item says what and how.
  3. 03Fix them yourself, or book a call and we do it as part of an SEO job.

Good to know

What this checks — and what it does not

It reads the page the way a crawler does: the tags, headings, images, links and structured data in the HTML, plus robots.txt and the sitemap. It does not measure rankings, backlinks or traffic. For those, DevsKing — the SEO tool company I founded — has rank tracking and backlink tools at devsking.com.

About the seo checker (light)

What an on-page SEO check tells you

Before a page can rank it has to be readable to Google: one clear title, a description worth clicking, a single H1 that states the topic, images it can understand, enough text to be about something, a canonical address so duplicates do not compete, and no accidental noindex. A page can miss three or four of these without anyone noticing, because it still looks fine to a person.

This checker reads the page the way a crawler does and puts those items in a list with a fix for each. Green is fine, amber is worth improving, red is costing you.

What to fix first

Red items first, in this order: a noindex you did not intend, no HTTPS, no title, no H1, no meta description. Then amber: alt text, thin content, missing structured data, missing social tags. The fixes are small; the effect of the first five is not.

If the list is long and the site is on WordPress or a page builder, it is usually faster to fix them all in one sitting than one by one — that is the job we quote from this list.

FAQ

SEO Checker (Light) — questions

What does the SEO checker look at?

The things a search engine reads from the page itself: HTTPS, response and redirects, title tag, meta description, H1, image alt text, word count, canonical link, robots meta, viewport, language, Open Graph tags, JSON-LD structured data, internal and external links, plus robots.txt and the XML sitemap on the same site.

Is this a full SEO audit?

No. It is the light, automated version, which reads one page and checks the on-page basics. It does not look at rankings, backlinks or keyword research.

Why does my page score low when it looks fine?

Usually a missing meta description, several H1s, images without alt text or no structured data — none of which is visible on the page. The list says exactly which.

Do you store the pages I check?

No. The server fetches the page, reads it, sends the result to your browser and discards it. There is a limit of ten checks per ten minutes.

Can I check a page that is password-protected or on my laptop?

No — only public web pages. Private addresses (localhost, internal networks) are refused for safety.
