Web developer in Habra — the shop a newcomer can find
Before hiring a web developer in Habra, try one search. Type your own trade into Google with the town's name after it, and look at what comes up. Whatever is on that screen is what a new customer sees too. I build the page meant to sit at the top of it.
Overview
Where word of mouth stops reaching
Keep the word of mouth you already have. A site gives the people who hear about you somewhere to check.
Before dealing with you, a supplier wants to see that you're a real shop. A customer with two names in mind checks both on a mobile before choosing one. A family that has just moved in hears your name from a neighbour, then looks up where you are. Habra's trade is local retail and small business, so the site is usually small: one shop, one address, one phone number.
If you'd rather talk across a table than over the phone, say so when you book, and we'll arrange a first meeting in person.

What a scope from me looks like
What do we settle before design starts?
Included
- A written scope: every page and feature as its own line, agreed before work starts
- Design to build, reviewed on a staging URL that stays open the whole project
- Mobile first — checked on a real phone
- Domain, hosting and every account created in your name from day one
- Basic on-page SEO: titles, descriptions, headings, sitemap, Search Console connected
- A runbook at handover: how to edit it, what renews and when
Phase two
- A product or service list with enquiry
- A page for a second trade line
- Ongoing SEO once the site has traffic to read
- A maintenance plan once the site is live
- Logo and brand design, quoted separately from the build
Not doing
- Guaranteed rankings
- Listing the shop under trades it doesn't carry — the page names only what you really sell
Where this comes from
Live sites, one click away
Click into the live sites on the projects page before deciding anything. They come from the 900+ projects completed since 2017, built with the same written scope and staging link a shop in Habra would get.
What moves the number
From a single page to a product list
Most of the cost is in how much the shop needs to say. Everything else is worked out in the quote explainer.
- Whether the page needs a product list, or just the trade, the address and a phone number
- Whether enquiries come in through a form, or only by phone and WhatsApp
- Whether you'll change prices and photos yourself, or want that handled under a maintenance plan
- A second business at the same address, which gets a scope of its own
What gets built here
Your name, your hours, your number
Get these right and the rest can stay plain.
- 01The shop's name spelled one way everywhere — on the board, the listing and the site — so a customer who heard it from someone else knows they've found the right shop.
- 02One address and one set of shop hours. If the directory listing and the site give different closing times, a newcomer can't tell which to believe, so we correct both together.
- 03The phone number at the top and again at the bottom, set up so a tap on a mobile dials it straight away.

FAQ
A shop owner's questions
Settle these before you say yes.
When I search my trade in Habra, I mostly see a listing site. Does that mean nobody is looking?
- Not necessarily. A search can be typed often and still have nothing better to show than a listing. Search Console is connected at launch, and once the page is live it shows the actual words people used to reach you, so neither of us has to guess.
I already have a directory listing and a Facebook page. Do I need a website as well?
- They stay as they are. A website is the one place where you decide what the shop is called, what it sells and how to reach it, and the listing and the Facebook page can then link back to it instead of standing on their own.
Will I be able to change prices and photos myself?
- Yes. At handover you get a runbook that shows how to edit text and photographs, and what renews each year. The domain and hosting are in your name from the start, so nothing waits on me.
Is the first meeting a sales pitch?
- The first meeting is about your shop, not a pitch. We go through what it sells and who comes in, and you decide afterwards whether a site is worth building.
Next step
Tell me your trade and the name on the board
On the call, I'll ask what the shop sells and how the board spells its name, then sketch the first page's outline with you. Nothing needs writing up beforehand.
