Web developer in Durgapur, for industrial suppliers

For an industrial supplier, I open the site with what you make and the figures behind it. A named contact and the certificates you hold sit on the first screen too. Your web developer in Durgapur would be me, working from Kolkata, India. Every step is written down first and checked on a link you can open.

Overview

Who reads a supplier's site

A purchase manager in another state reads your site to decide whether you make the shortlist. Often the page then goes to someone above them before anyone picks up the phone.

If you sell to other businesses, that reader arrives with a requirement to fill and a list of questions about it. That shapes the site. Every heading follows from it.

I put styling second for that reader. What comes first is whether you can supply what they need, and who to ask when they want to check.

What moves the number

What goes into the cost of a supplier's site?

Your answers to these decide the estimate, and none of them needs settling before we talk. You see each one priced before anything is agreed.

  • 01How many product lines or services need a page of their own
  • 02Whether a downloadable specification sheet is needed at launch
  • 03Photographs of the plant or the workswhether the machines and the finished goods both need showing
  • 04A Bengali version beside the English pages
  • 05A separate section for a trade or tourism side of the business

Where this comes from

Finished work, and who answers for it

900+ projects completed sit behind the finished sites listed here. Choose one near your own line of work, and we can go through it together on a call.

The written scope and the accounts opened in your name are both yours to check, wherever the work is done.

What a scope from me looks like

Phase one, from your own documents

An example first scope — an industrial B2B supplier
v1
FIXED PRICE · PER PHASE

Included

  • A written scope: every page and feature as its own line, agreed before work starts
  • Design to build, reviewed on a staging URL that stays open the whole project
  • Mobile first — checked on a real phone
  • Domain, hosting and every account created in your name from day one
  • Specifications and certifications stated plainly, exactly as supplied
  • Basic on-page SEO: titles, descriptions, headings, sitemap, Search Console connected
  • A runbook at handover: how to edit it, what renews and when

Phase two

  • A downloadable specification sheet or certificate library
  • A Bengali version, once a local audience needs one
  • Ongoing SEO once the site has traffic to read
  • A maintenance plan once the site is live
  • Logo and brand design, quoted separately from the build
Each of these gets its own estimate when you decide to add it.

Not doing

  • Guaranteed rankings
  • Verifying or issuing any certification — that stays with the body that issued it
Search placement isn't for sale here. A certificate means what its issuer says, and the site quotes it as issued.

Only specifications and certifications you've confirmed go on the site. I can't verify them for you, so each one comes from your own documents.

If you run a trade or tourism business instead, the scope is built around enquiries, because your customers ask different questions from a purchase manager.

What gets built here

Facts a shortlist is built from

Each one comes from your own records. If a figure isn't settled yet, it stays off the site until it is.

  • Specifications as exact figures — unit for unit, as your documents state them.
  • Certifications and safety records — named and dated, exactly as issued.
  • A named contact — a person and a direct email, for a buyer with a specific question.
  • Capacity and delivery — the figures you can meet today, so a first order matches what the site said.

FAQ

Before you sign off a scope

Review, visits, language, downloads, price and later changes.

How do we review the pages?

On a private staging link, which you see before any page is published. Comments go back on the same link, and the changes show up there for a second look. Nothing goes live until you've signed off the page it sits on.

Can you visit the plant?

No. A visit is not part of the service. The work is planned on calls and checked on a staging link, and photographs of the plant come from your side.

Does the site need to be bilingual?

English comes first, since the buyers it is written for sit in other states. A Bengali version can be added later if local customers ask for one. If it's added, it gets its own line in the scope.

Do we need a downloadable specification sheet?

Not at launch. Specifications written on the page itself read on any phone. A downloadable sheet or a certificate library can be added for buyers who ask to keep a copy on file.

What goes into the price?

Each line of a written scope is priced on its own, and every page and feature has a line. You see all of them before agreeing to anything. A change later on is priced the same way, as a line of its own.

What if a specification changes after launch?

Then the page changes with it. You can edit the figure yourself using the handover notes, or have the team do it under a maintenance plan. When the team makes the change, you see it on a link before it goes live.

Send one product line to start

We start from one product line and the documents behind it. Design questions follow, and the rest of the scope is written around what you send.
