Web developer in Purba Bardhaman for mills, dealers and cold stores

If you run a rice mill, a machinery dealership or a cold store and your buyers sit in other districts, I make you a trade site that says what you supply and where. As a web developer in Purba Bardhaman I also build for coaching centres and services around the university in Bardhaman, where a student or a parent has to act from a phone.

Overview

Orders, and the supplier's call

A buyer you've never met decides on a first order from what the site tells them.

Sites help when you are the buyer, too. A supplier you approach can look you up first and see who they are dealing with before taking the call.

I use photographs of your own yard, store or showroom on the trade pages, so a buyer can see the place an order will leave from.

Two audiences

A trade buyer's list beside a student's

A buyer placing a first order and a parent choosing a coaching centre start from different questions.

A buyer or supplier trading with Purba Bardhaman

  • What's handled, and in what volumes
  • Which areas are covered, and on what terms
  • Someone named who knows the stock

A student or parent around the university

  • Fees, timings and what's included
  • Enrolment steps that work without a phone call
  • Where the centre is, and how to get there

What moves the number

What decides the cost

Each driver here can move the figure in either direction. The trade side and the education side are counted separately, even when they share one site.

  • 01Whether the trade side and the education side share one site
  • 02How many products, courses or services need their own page
  • 03Whether every product page carries an enquiry button
  • 04Whether the education side needs an enrolment or enquiry form from the start
  • 05Whether you supply the wording or want it written for you
  • 06Whether your Google listing needs bringing in line with the site

What a scope from me looks like

A first scope, page by page

An example first scope — a trading or coaching business
v1
FIXED PRICE · PER PHASE

Included

  • A written scope: every page and feature as its own line, agreed before work starts
  • Design to build, reviewed on a staging URL that stays open the whole project
  • Mobile first — checked on a real phone
  • Domain, hosting and every account created in your name from day one
  • Trade figures or course fees written up from your own numbers
  • Basic on-page SEO: titles, descriptions, headings, sitemap, Search Console connected
  • A runbook at handover: how to edit it, what renews and when

Phase two

  • A terms sheet trade buyers can save and share
  • An enrolment or enquiry form, for the education side
  • Ongoing SEO once the site has traffic to read
  • A maintenance plan once the site is live
  • Logo and brand design, quoted separately from the build
These wait until version one is live.

Not doing

  • Guaranteed rankings
  • Logistics or delivery arrangements for orders
Google sets search positions, so none is promised. Deliveries stay your own arrangement.

Version one holds only the pages a customer needs before getting in touch.

Each page is its own line in the scope, so you can see exactly what you're agreeing to before any work starts.

What gets built here

On the trade side

For a mill, a dealer or a cold store, these come first.

  • Capacity and volumes, in plain figures, so a buyer can place a first order without guessing.
  • The districts you supply, listed by name, so nobody has to ring to find out.
  • Terms and a contact person, named on the site, because a first order goes to someone the buyer can ask for.
  • Your packing sizes or unit of sale, so a buyer knows exactly what one order means.

FAQ

Small decisions to make early

Quick to answer, and easy to change later.

We run a rice mill. What goes on the home page?

Lead with what the mill produces and in what quantity, so a buyer knows straight away whether you can fill an order. Grades and terms can follow on pages of their own, and a short line on how you pack and dispatch doesn't hurt either.

We run a coaching centre near the university. What should students find first?

Students should find the fees first, readable on a phone without calling anyone. Batch timings sit right under them, then the steps to enrol. A parent comparing coaching centres wants the same facts, and a clear line on how to reach you comes next.

Can a cold storage business show its capacity?

A cold storage business can show its total capacity and the produce it stores, and you can edit the figures yourself whenever they change. A photograph of the store from outside helps a buyer recognise it.

Do agri-machinery dealers need a different site from seed suppliers?

Agri-machinery dealers and seed suppliers can usually share the same plain layout, because both sell to businesses. What changes is the detail on each product page, filled in with your own products and service areas.

Can students enquire about a batch from the site?

Students can enquire about a batch through a short form or a WhatsApp button, and the message goes straight to the coaching centre. A full enrolment form waits in phase two, already written into the scope.

Can a dealer show which brands it carries?

A dealer can show the brands it carries by name, with a page for each range if buyers need the detail. Brand logos go up only where the maker allows its dealers to use them, so it's worth checking first.

Next step

Who buys from you?

Tell me who your last few orders or admissions came from. That shows which pages to build first, and which side of the business the site should open with.
